Dear Community,
We have deciced some weeks ago to discontinue with the joomleague.de hosting and the smf board. Today was the day x where we moved the smf board, the wiki and all related data onto the new host. After the successfull run of the migration script are no real problems left, just the fact we lost the attachments and avatars due a migration script error. We are sry for that, but it should not be a real deal to repost the important files again. With our new host which is now a real root server, are some more features under way and some of them are already in place on the mainpage. We have now a real joomla page as frontend with the standard joomla features. I think it is for a project of this size important to provide although a real git(formerly svn) up2date demo site, where we can show new features and improvements immediately. And of course the link to the bugtracker is important for us all. At the moment we still stick with joomlacode.org but we will switch in some weeks to our integrated mantis tracker to have all what we need on one page. One of the next features on our new site are hourly builds based on the git master repository. This will give everyone the possibility to install the com_joomleague, every joomleague module and language directly per joomla packaging. Last but not least are developer statistics, so that everyone can see who is working actively and who takes a break, who has developed what and how much lines of code were involved over which period of time. I have to thank every dev which were involved in this great project in the past, and i wanna welcome every new dev which joined our growing community in the past weeks.
We still have alot of things to do and not every part of the page is finished. So please be nice gentle to us, we do our best!
As everyone can see, we are very aware of all problems which happened in the past and we try to clean up all annoying things and we are trying to make joomleague 1.5 the best joomleague ever. With our active dev team is a good crew on a good way to bring us all a stable version with alot of new features. I am very pleased to be a part of this great community and wish everyone all the best with joomleague!
best regards,
